Shagufta has led workshops locally, nationally and internationally; including with organisations such as ‘Poetry Slam’ 'Apples and Snakes' and ‘BBC Blast’, she has experience in working in bi-lingual settings, with students aged 5 to 90. She has facilitated workshops with youth groups, community groups, schools, universities, and charity organisations, in Northern Ireland, Palestine, Italy and Brussels.
Here you will be led through a series of poetry writing workshops, where you will have a chance to explore your writing techniques, sense of self, connection to nature, a time to nurture your creative self, and to try something you may not normally take time to do in your day to day life. Alongside this the retreat offers scenic walks, guided mediation, an Indian Head Massage and glorious food. What more could your mind, body and soul ask for?
